MakersPlace is seeking a passionate Content Marketing Manager who is excited to help us empower a vibrant future for digital creativity. In this role, you will lead the company’s overall content marketing strategy as well as its execution, creating compelling on-site experiences that help us promote key sales, brand initiatives and voice our perspective on industry subject matter. You will be key to educating and expanding our community, both by creating excitement among existing artists and collectors, as well as by reaching new audiences through improved SEO and site visitorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company’s overall content marketing strategy, including setting key traffic and engagement KPIs, owning deliverables and reporting on progress
  • Create compelling on-site content Implementing SEO best practices
  • Budget for and manage external support, such as freelance writers and video production
  • Collaborate with Social Media and Email Marketing Managers on content distribution plans, creative and performance measurement
  • Regularly test content effectiveness, analyze data and present key learnings and recommendations to inform future campaigns

Job Requirements

  • 3–5 years experience in content strategy and execution
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker who is able to express complex ideas in compelling ways
  • An analytical approach – strategize, measure and communicate data-driven decisions
  • Strong leadership skills and self-directedEnergized by working in a rapidly-evolving space
  • Demonstrated interest in the creator economy and helping artists thrive in a digital world
