Content Strategist & Editorial Copywriter

As the content strategist and editorial copywriter, you will play a crucial role in building the Sorare tone of voice and create a consistent style guide for written content across the site, social, and beyond. This role will work cross-functionally with content, voice-of-customer, research, and product  to deliver a diverse range of content and creative solutions.


  • Write messaging that inspires and educates for a wide range of communications formats – blog content, newsletters, social posts, presentations and more
  • Take complex concepts and products and bring them to life simply and in an engaging way
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute and scale across various mediums (video, digital, print, presentation and live events)
  • Partner with PR teams to provide tone of voice oversight, ensuring quality and consistency of voice/language across partners and channels
  • Collaborate with creative partners to concept and create innovative and big ideas that can live across channels and platforms
  • Manage projects and provide editorial direction to guide the work of external agencies, as needed

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a writing, creative strategy, content strategy, or editorial role
  • 3+ years experience as a copywriter or copyeditor
  • Grammar skills and experience transforming technical, abstract problems into compelling content
  • Experience adapting messaging to resonate with various target audiences
  • Proven experience overseeing ideas from inception to launch
  • Experience taking feedback and influencing stakeholders on content that connects
  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Experience taking feedback and working in an iterative process against tight timelines
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
