The Business Development Director of Commerce will work cross-functionally within Coinbase to lead the prioritization and implementation of distribution partnerships to achieve our revenue goals. In addition to closing distribution partnerships, the successful candidate identity expansion opportunities and develop additional GTM approaches.
Responsibilities
- Develop prioritization of partner segments to support our ambitious expansion goals
- Source, close, and implement commercial relationships with partners within timeframes required to support
- Collaborate with the product organization to identify opportunities for expansion of Coinbase Commerce into new payments use cases and segments.
- Work with product, compliance, legal, finance, and others to organize the initial and ongoing GTM effort
Job Requirements
- Passion for and knowledge of payments and payments systems
- Experience sourcing and structuring complex partnerships that require cross-functional collaboration within an organization
- A network of contacts within the financial services industry
- Driven and results-oriented, but humble and self aware
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- 10+ years of work experience
