We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Environment Artist who is ready to work on the cutting edge of game graphics technology. We let our creativity go wild and combine that with technical skill to bring beautiful worlds to life.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up art production workflows in Unreal Engine 4
  • Supporting artists and engineers in the 3D art pipeline
  • Operating on git VCS, helping the art team to solve complex problems
  • Assisting in asset performance and validation in Unreal Engine 4
  • Ensuring final art runs at full visual resolution in Unreal Engine 4
  • Working within Unreal Engine 4's game engine limits, curating file sizes, polygon counts, and loading speeds
  • Guiding the team to adopt standards as outlined by heads of departments
  • Researching and overseeing the implementation of rendering techniques in Unreal Engine 4
  • Developing performance of frame rate and memory in UE4
  • Resolving material errors and collision issues in UE4
  • Monitoring the performance of the game
  • Maintaining technical documentation

Job Requirements

  • Proficiency in environment creation workflows, including landscapes, shaders, foliage, post-process effects, optimisations, and asset creation procedures for Unreal Engine 4, guiding the team
  • Strong general knowledge of lighting in Unreal Engine 4, including SSGI and RTXGI technologies
  • Excellent skills in Unreal Engine 4 and Blueprint scripting
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English
