As the leader of our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you will build a high-performing, global FP&A team to scale a fast-growing sports NFT marketplace. In this highly impactful role, you will evaluate new business initiatives and potential investments, including partnership deals, analyze business performance, and present recommendations to senior management. You will partner across Sorare’s functions and business lines to build business cases, develop capital allocation frameworks and drive financial results. You will own the company’s financial model, budgets and plans and leverage data to provide counsel to the executive team and business leaders.

This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.


  • Build and develop a high performing FP&A team
  • Own the operating and financial models for Sorare
  • Manage strategic planning including financial modeling, P&L forecasting, target setting, and prioritization of strategic initiatives
  • Provide cross functional leaders with insights on key business and performance drivers
  • Own financial planning and provide leaders with insights to manage businesses’ P&Ls
  • Develop financial models, track and analyze financial KPIs, assess business risks and opportunities to guide decision making
  • Implement systems and tools to monitor investment efficiency, guide investment decisions, and drive financial improvement
  • Develop relevant Board materials
  • Continuously improve operational efficiencies by building scalable processes

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years work experience with a focus in financial planning at a fast growing, technology company
  • B.S. or B.A. in accounting, finance, math, economics, business, engineering or other technical field
  • Track record of leading and building high-performing team
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting principles
  • Expert at building complex financial models and working with large datasets
  • Experience with Accounting and FP&A system ERP implementation
  • Ability to influence decisions at the highest level within a collaborative and team-centric culture
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Willingness to work with uncertainties in a new, evolving industry
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Blockchain or cryptocurrency, startup experience is a plus
