As a Program Manager, you’ll work in tandem with the Product Managers, Engineers and Designers to shape the future of Coinbase’s products. You’ll thrive in this role if you have experience building relationships with and influencing cross-functional team members, delivering high quality projects on time, and analyzing data to produce actionable recommendations.

  • Liaison between Product, Engineering, and technical client-facing teams to ensure any new product initiatives, releases, or changes in strategy are properly communicated and are “client-ready”.
  • Represent and triage client feedback with Product and Engineering teams related to Coinbase’s API offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with team members in Product, Engineering & Design which will be used to advocate for improvements to the user experience.
  • Establish and manage a Developer Outreach Program supporting Coinbase Prime and Coinbase Exchange API’s users.
  • Decipher product roadmaps and clearly communicate impact to CX Institutional Leadership to inform strategy and resource planning decisions.
  • Address client feedback elevated by CX client-facing teams, Technical Account Management and Technical Support Operations, in order to drive insights for the product and engineering organization.

Job Requirements

  • Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence colleagues inside and outside of your immediate team in a cross-functional environment.
  • 6+ year of experience in Technical Program and/or Product Management or equivalent experience with track record of shipping products and services.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex systems and drive solutions in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management, cross-group collaboration, communications, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Prior experience designing and/or building complex enterprise scale distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with software development tools and techniques.
  • Proficient experience of engineering practices and engaging  product and engineering teams in order to express and drive support for new feature requirements.
  • Be able to ramp quickly to understand and solve complex problems. This might be integration of technologies or environmental issues that are blocking a scenario for a customer.
  • Ability to leverage telemetry and diagnostics to derive insights that add value to our operations.
  • Proficiency working with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
  • Familiarity with Order Management Systems in from Traditional or Crypto Exchanges
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. MS or higher preferred.
